The Work consists of improvements to the Joseph Blake Water Treatment Plant (JBWTP), including forebay inlet modifications, in-kind replacement of the forebay outlet structure gates, raw water pipe replacement in the pre-treatment building, flocculation inlet channel gate replacement, replacement of existing flocculators with vertical paddlewheel flocculators and additional flocculation stages, replacement of the tube settlers and residuals collectors with inclined lamella plates and hoseless residuals collectors, miscellaneous piping improvements, miscellaneous chemical improvements, partitioning of the upper chemical area to create a new electrical room (which will house the new motor control centers), replacement of the solids separation basin floating decanters and residuals collectors with floating plate settlers and hoseless residuals collectors, residuals pump replacement, a new overflow pipe from the solids separation basin inlet channel to the lagoons, site electrical and network improvements, miscellaneous demolition, miscellaneous yard work,repair and reconstruction of existing improvements affected by the Work, and incidentals for complete and usable facility. The project has an expected duration of 864 calendar days. * Bids will be accepted only from Bidders prequalified by the Owner. Only those Bids submitted by Bidders determined by the Owner to be qualified will be considered. Bids received from Bidders who are not prequalified will be returned. Prospective Bidders have been determined and bids will only be accepted from the short-listed contractors. Prequalified General Contractors will be sent a Dropbox link via email. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated Dropbox link. The designated Dropbox link will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications will be transmitted via email and addenda and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated Dropbox link.
