Renovation of a municipal facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The removal and replacement of an air-cooled chiller including exterior chilled water piping and valves; the removal and replacement of secondary hot water and chilled water pumps including hot water piping, chilled water piping, and valves; the addition of VFDs for the new secondary pumps; the removal and replacement of a gas-fired steam humidifier, and the removal and replacement of computer room air conditioning units, including two indoor units and two outdoor units. Temporary air conditioning and heating will be required for the project. All VAV strainers shall be cleaned. The City of Virginia Beach is accepting sealed bids from qualified individuals and/or organizations that provide the removal and replacement of air-cooled chiller in Building 30 at Virginia Beach Municipal Center.
