CIP Number: 100519, BID NO: COVB-22-100686,1 This work includes the replacement of the 10-inch discharge force main serving City of Virginia Beach's Green Garden (PS #547) Pump Station. The existing force main will be replaced with a 10-inch force main approximately 2,450 LF connecting to the existing 10-inch force main along Green Garden Circle and extending along Green Garden Circle and Dahlia Drive before crossing Rosemont Road and connecting to the existing 18-inch force main located on the west side of Rosemont Road at the intersection of Dahlia Drive. The replacement force main will be installed within the pavement section except for a portion to be installed within a casing pipe under an existing ditch along Dahlia Drive within an existing City of Virginia Beach Utility Easement. The project also includes the removal and replacement of a portion of the existing 18-inch force main, including valves, fittings, and appurtenances, along Rosemont Road at the existing connection location of the Green Garden (PS #547) Pump Station force main located approximately 600 feet south of the intersection of Dahlia Drive and Rosemont Road. Abandonment of the existing 10-inch force main serving the Green Garden (PS #547) Pump Station is also included in the project, as well as replacement of approximately 100 LF of 10-inch gravity sewer at the intersection of Dahlia Drive and Dandelion Crescent. The City of Virginia Beach, Virginia will receive sealed bids/proposals from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document.
