Questions Due Date: Oct 11th 2021, 4:00 PM EDT The Work is generally described as follows: Construction of new sodium hypochlorite facilities in the Filter Building at the PWSA Aspinwall Water Treatment Plant. Plumbing work will include new water service lines inside building, furnishing and installing eyewash stations, hot water units, sanitary drain modifications and installation of a wet sprinkler fire suppression system and fire alarm system. Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) M BE/ WBE/ DBE/SBE/VBE/SDVBE: The Owner's current EOP goals for all contracts is between ten percent (10%) and twenty-five percent (25% Collectively, the Work to be performed under these Contracts includes, but is not limited to, constructing the Work described below and all related appurtenances. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition and removal of existing pre-filter and post-filter sodium hypochlorite bulk tanks, piping and associated equipment, appurtenances, and electrical systems. 2. Provide new sodium hypochlorite systems for the pre-filter and post-filter systems including pumps, tanks, piping, valves, instrumentation, control systems and appurtenances. 3. Provide new electrical systems associated with sodium hypochlorite system to be provided as part of the project. 4. Construction of a new storage room and associated work such as concrete, metals, finishings, signage, and other required construction associated with the project. 5. Provide new HVAC system for new NaOCl storage room. 6. Provide fire suppression and fire alarm system for new NaOCl storage room. 7. Provide new emergency eyewash/shower stations. 8. Provide new chemical control panel fill station at Filter Building exterior. 9. New sitework including driveway, bollards and trench drainage.
