Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Okatie, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work to be performed consists of rehabilitation of the existing Filter Complex and Sedimentation Basins at the Chelsea WTP. The Filter Complex rehabilitation generally includes replacement of underdrain equipment for Filters 1-6; replacement of filter media for Filters 1-8; replacement of Filter Influent Valves for Filters 1-8; as well as miscellaneous pipe gallery and instrumentation upgrades. The Sedimentation Basin rehabilitation generally includes replacement of the existing sludge collection equipment.
