Renovation of a transportation facility in Brockton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
**As of October 25, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Remove and replace two in-ground heavy duty bus Lifts. Decommission and remove one additional in-ground lift, backfill cavities and restore concrete shop floor. Mechanical Systems certification required. MA Prevailing Wages and federal Davis-Bacon Wages apply. The contract work resulting from this solicitation must be completed no later than January 28, 2022. Failure ofthe contractor to reach substantial completion ofthe work ofthis project by January 28, 2022, will result in liquidated damages in the amount of $100.00 per calendar day. Substantial completion is defined as the date the bus lift equipment as described in this Bid is fully operational. Installation must be complete and BAT must accept this project by February 8, 2022. Awarded contractor will be required to present a 100% Payment Bond and a 100% Performance Bond with a signed contract. DBE participation in its overall contracting opportunities of 2.5%.
