As of October 27, 2021, the project has been awarded to Resto for $2,338.50. This solicitation is issued for vendors to quote on a project to furnish and install a new commercial disposal unit at Escalante Elementary School, 1810 West 900 North, Salt Lake City, Utah per the specifications, terms and conditions contained herein. Successful vendor will be required to provide all equipment, labor, additional parts, mounts, support, other materials, shipping/delivery, and warranty required for a completed successful/professional installation. The model requested is a Salvajor Model 2007. This solicitation contains a brand-name-or-equal specification. A vendor who specifies a different brand/model than the one stated in the scope of work must submit all information necessary to prove that the unit offered is indeed equal to or better than the brand/model specified above. Failure to submit this information in a way that allows for an easy comparison to the brand name specification will result in that vendor's quote being rejected as non-responsive. As an example, if a vendor merely submits product brochures or pamphlets requiring evaluators to sift thru non-essential literature just to extract the needed information, that vendor's quote will be rejected.
