Deadline to Submit Questions Prior to Submission of Proposal Monday, November 7, 2022 3:00 PM Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) In early 2020, a rare seismic event caused significant damages to the subject facility and following this event efforts were undertaken to remediate and temporarily stabilize some of the more immediate structural and hazardous material concerns. At this time, full building remediation design development and structural investigation is underway to bring the full facility up to current seismic standards and repair many historic elements. Pursuant to this end, pre seismic renovation hazardous materials abatement as outlined in the R&R Environmental Scope of Work document dated October 4, 2022 is being solicited in order to prepare for the needed construction activities. The corresponding SOW includes, but is not limited to, the remediation of concrete tar coatings, sheeting vinyl flooring, putty wall packing, fiber cement board countertop, fiber cement fume hood, white sink undercoating, vinyl floor tile and mastic, stair tread adhesive, duct sealant, TSI, fire doors, lead based paint and other universal wastes as identified in the referenced bid documents.
