HARRISON, SUITE 1200 TOPEKA, KANSAS 66603 PHONE: 785-296-2128 E-MAIL ADDRESS: donna.griffin@ks.gov A Performance Bond shall be furnished to the Owner by the Contractor in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price as security for the faithful performance of this Contract and as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. Bonds are to cover all claims discovered during construction or prior to the end of the warranty period. A Public Works Bond as required by K.S.A. 60-1111 shall be furnished to the Owner by the Contractor in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and shall be filed with the Clerk of the District Court in the county where the Project is being constructed. A Public Works Bond is not required for projects with a contract price below $100,000.
