The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of facility renovations to include, but are not limited to, insulation, painting, new flooring, fixtures, ADA front door, and signage to the satisfaction and acceptance of the Recreation and Community Services Superintendent and the Architect. Any Contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the State Labor Code. Compliance with the prevailing rates of wages, apprenticeship employment standards, and Contractor registration program established by the State Director of Industrial Relations will be required. Affirmative action to ensure against discrimination in employment practices on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, or religion will be also required. Bids must be prepared on the approved proposal forms in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders and submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside: "SEALED BID FOR RILEY GYMNASIUM RENOVATION PROJECT - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL." At the time of Contract award, the prime Contractor shall possess an A or B Contractor's License to perform the work. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code Section 12990 The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents to construct for the above-stated project. The general items of work to be done hereunder consist of: Removal and replacement of store front entry doors removal and replacement of insulation, replacement of drinking fountain to provide ADA accessible drinking fountain, replacement of restroom sinks and countertop and new wall and floor finishes to the satisfaction and acceptance of the Recreation and Community Services Superintendent and the Architect.
