“The owner has selected a Design Builder. City of Salinas (CITY) intends to construct a new public facility known as the Hebbron Family Center, located at 683 Fremont Street, Salinas, CA 93905. The project is a new approximate 7,950sf building for Hebbron Family Center with public meeting spaces, flexible multipurpose rooms, offices, kitchen, and teen lounge/activity space. Outdoor scope includes a courtyard, multi-use sports court, and entry plaza with landscape & flatwork with lighting and irrigation. Parking area improvements include re-asphalt & striping, with new landscape, lighting with ADA compliance. Add alternates include parking lot's carport shade structure with Photovoltaic system. The estimated design and construction cost for the Project is $10.2 million dollars. Each Bid shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications on file, submitted on the Proposal form furnished and accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond made payable to the City of Salinas, for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of that amount of the Bid No mandatory job walk is scheduled.
