Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Federal Way, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a 100,009-square-foot educational facility; for the construction of a 79,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; road / highway; and for the renovation of a 26,000-square-foot educational facility.
The awarded Construction Manager is accepting subcontractor bids in multiple packages. The project consists of a replacement of the existing 109,000 sf Illahee Middle School with a new w 79,000 sf middle school and renovation of the approximately 26,000 SF gymnasium on the existing site. The project will include the new school building, demolition of the existing facility, renovation of the existing gym building, associated parking facilities and drives, utilities, and ROW street improvements. The project construction budget is approximately $66 million and will have a capacity of approximately 800 students. NTP June 26, 2023. Substantial Completion November 11, 2024.
