Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Canton, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
As of November 28, 2022, construction is underway. A timeline for completion has not been confirmed. Questions regarding specifications should be addressed in writing to Purchasing Department, at purchasing@cantonohio.gov. The total estimated construction cost for the Base Bid Work for the Project for which bids are being solicited at this time is $1,800,000.00. The estimated cost for Alternate 1 - Column underpinning is: $60,000.00. The estimated cost for Alternate 2 - Cold storage building work: New electrical service, lighting, outlets, masonry infill is: $175,000.00. The estimated cost for Alternate 3 - Addition of a Loading Dock on the SW corner of the Salt Storage Building. Includes new structure, new foundations, new bollards, new roof and wall panels, and new lighting. (Note that all demolition work and all civil work for the Loading Dock is in the base bid.) is $200,000.00. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
