Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Huntersville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Contractor agrees to complete the construction of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents. Such construction of the Project shall constitute the "Work." The Contractor agrees to provide all of the personnel, contract personnel, subcontractors, financial resources, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the Work in a timely and professional manner in accordance with the standards of the profession for similar work in the Mecklenburg County area at the time of the performance of the Work The Bid Bond shall be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid plus all of the alternates. The Bid Bond shall be valid for a minimum of ninety (90) calendar days. PERFORMANCE BOND: The successful Bidder shall provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract sum, and shall conform to the Owner's requirements. Bond/surety shall be provided in a form. PAYMENT BOND: The successful Bidder shall provide a payment bond equal to 100% of the contract sum, and shall conform to the Owner's requirements. Complete the base bid work within 240 consecutive calendar days. This time of construction shall be defined as the Contract Period. It is the responsibility of each Bidder, without excuse, to ensure that their Bid Proposal is submitted at the right place by the deadline. Each Bid Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope, to indicate its contents without being opened. The name of the Bidder, his address and his license number must be marked on the outside of the envelope. This envelope shall be placed in another one addressed to the attention of Michael Jaycocks, Town of Huntersville Recreation Department, 105 Gilead Road, P.O. Box 2879, Huntersville, North Carolina, 28070, and if forwarded otherwise than by mail, must be delivered to Mr. Michael Jaycocks at the above address. If the mail is delayed beyond the date and hour set for the Bid Proposal opening, proposals thus delayed will not be considered
