This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is not a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District is issuing the sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for the rehabilitation of the Rosedale Dam. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 237990-Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, size standard $36.5M.
The scope of the project consists of the rehabilitation of the Rosedale Dam for storm water detention. Rosedale Dam will be reconstructed and modified with a reinforced concrete box culvert through the dam to provide normal flows into the creek bed. The Dam construction will include a concrete spillway and outlet works. The crest and downstream slope will be protected by a new concrete spillway. The entire structure will require clearing, grubbing, reshaping of the earthen embankments, compaction, riprap placement, and establishment of vegetative cover The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
