The contract consists of the repair of seven (7) culverts located on Chemin du Golf, Rang du Point-du-Jour Sud and Terrasse des Champs. This contract is briefly described as follows: Excavation and replacement of existing culverts, including transitions Installation of the sub-foundation and the pavement foundation Preparation of surfaces Installation of asphalt mix Connection of driveways Cleaning and digging of adjacent ditches End protection (stonework) As well as all related work necessary for the completion of this contract. For any information, the tenderer must communicate, in writing only, with Andre Boisvert, head of the procurement division of the City of L'Assomption, by email at appeldoffres@ville.lassomption.qc.ca, at a minimum. seven (7) days before the opening of tenders to allow a project manager to respond to all requests before the opening of tenders. All requests received after this deadline may not be considered. Responses will be communicated in writing to all bidders. When a response has the consequence of modifying the requirements of the estimate, this response must be presented in the form of an addendum. REQUIREMENTS Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, a bank draft, an irrevocable guarantee or a bid bond issued in favor of the City of L'Assomption in the amount equivalent to ten percent (10%). the total of the bids, after taxes, as well as a letter of commitment to provide the performance guarantee within fifteen (15) days of the notice of award. Only a bid bond established by an insurer holding an insurer's license issued by the Autorite des marches financiers and authorizing it to practice the guarantee activity within the meaning of the Insurance Act and in accordance with the standard form NQ 1809- 900 / A will be accepted at the end of the tender documents. This bond must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date on which the tenders are opened.
