Renovation of a water / sewer project in Leicester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Grindstone Well Reactivation: The work of this contract generally consists of reactivation of the Grindstone Well including demolition of existing raw and high lift pumps and piping, furnishing and installation of chlorine and phosphate feed equipment, relocation of existing Worcester supply booster pumping system, and furnishing and installing of new Grindstone booster pumps and equalization tank and piping. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. Estimated Cost : $280,000 Contractor Qualification : DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
