Sand Hollow Aquatic Center - Sand Filter Replacement with Defender Units The bidder shall visit the project site and become familiar with the existing site conditions. Technical questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to timothy.key@sgcity.org. The BID includes the following: Scope of Work: Remove and dispose of old Neptune Benson sand filters. Leisure pool has 2 8'x48" fiberglass filters in 1 stack full of sand. Lap pool has 4 6'-48" fiberglass filters in 2 stacks full of sand. Install new Defender Regenerative Media Filters and control units. Leisure pool system Unit to be installed Model SP-41 992 GPM flow rate with a 8" Feed line Tie into existing plumbing, chemical feed lines, and UV System Install BECSys5 control units Lap pool system Unit to be installed Model SP-49 1,428 GPM flow rate with a 8" Feed line Tie into existing plumbing, chemical feed lines, and UV System Install BECSys5 control units All BIDDERS who submit a BID are required to be on the Plan Holders List. Addenda will only be provided to the plan holders that are on the Plan Holders List.
