Saving Project...

Demolition, site work and new construction of a residential development in Grass Valley, California. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

This RFP is being re-solicited due to no proposals received for the first solicitation(released September 23, 2021). The County is encouraging all qualified Developers to submit for this re-solicitation effort. Funding for this proposal has been made available for a limited time. Therefore, the County has established three (3) separate submittal dates: March 31, 2022 April 30, 2022 May 31, 2022. Nevada County is seeking proposals from qualified Developers to create affordable rental housing in the County. Approximately $366,628 will be available through the CDBG-DR Program as gap funding for these projects. This housing is meant to replace housing impacts of 2017 fires in the County. Successful projects will be provided a conditional reservation letter, along with a list of conditions to be met prior to commitment of funds. Legal documents will include, but not be limited to, a commitment agreement, a mortgage, a note, and a regulatory agreement. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in one or more awards to the top ranked Firm(s). As of March 31, 2022, the due date and time has been confirmed with the owner.
