In general, the work consists of demolition of existing heating and ventilation equipment serving wing B6; installation of a new packaged penthouse air handling unit on the roof of wing B6; installation of new supply air, return air and exhaust air distribution systems including new VAV reheat boxes; installation of one water cooled chiller, one cooling tower, one condenser water pump, one primary chilled water pump, one secondary chilled water pump and refrigerant monitoring system. The existing hot water system will be extended to serve the VAV reheat coils and AHU preheat coil. The new chiller shall be tied into the existing chilled water system which will be extended to serve the AHU chilled water coil. New ceilings and LED lighting are being provided in Wing B6. Power shall be extended from existing switchboard MSB located in the WWRC facility to serve the new chiller and electrical panel serving new HVAC equipment. Control work includes new DDC control systems to support the new chiller and HVAC system upgrades. General trades, electrical, plumbing and fire protection work shall be provided to support the installation of the new HVAC equipment. Bidder shall identify the division of work they are bidding on when requesting Bidding Documents online. Base Bids will be received as a single lump sum bid for: 3) Plumbing; 4) Mechanical (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning); and 5) Electrical. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted.
