When the total contract amount with alternates is $25,000 or more, a 50% payment bond shall be required When the total contract amount with alternates is $20,000 or more, a two-year 10% maintenance bond shall be required The Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor and equipment to carry out and complete in good form, firm, and substantial manner installation of tile in the SporTran intermodal terminal building located at 1237 Murphy Street, Shreveport, LA 71101. Area to be tiled is approximately 2,900 square feet covering the lobby, lobby restrooms, and retail space adjacent to the SporTran customer service window. SporTran will move furniture and close off sections of the building as necessary for the Contractor to complete installation. Prior to any payments under this contract, Contractor will be required to provide certified payrolls in accordance with DavisBacon and Related Acts. Contractor is responsible for: o Removing existing vinyl base, stain, and sealer o Removing and resetting toilets/fixtures with new wax rings o Removing and reinstalling bathroom partitions o Raising existing floor drains and clean-outs o Raising existing electrical floor outlets. o Installing tile o Installing vinyl base o Sealing grout SporTran will provide Sequoia Ballpark 6" x 36" porcelain tile for this project. Contractor will provide vinyl base (color to be specified by SporTran), grout, grout sealer, thinset, and other materials required for the job.
