The Jeff-Davis Board of Education (BOE) is seeking to select, via Construction Management at Risk Qualifications & Proposal process, a Construction Manager (CM) for Modifications and Interior Renovations to the Elementary School. The selected CM is to assist the BOE and its Architect with cost estimating and scheduling throughout the design phase and to build the project thereafter as a Construction Manager at Risk. The selection committee will review proposals and rank them according to the criteria established for this process as published in the RFQ, RFP package. The Jeff Davis Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The Jeff Davis Board of Education ("BOE") as ("Owner") is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing construction management at-risk services for the interior Modifications and Renovations to the Jeff Davis Elementary School one project known as Project No. JD-21.01 "Jeff Davis Elementary School Interior Modifications and Renovations" for the Jeff Davis County Board of Education, Hazlehurst, Georgia. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify potential providers of the above-mentioned services. Some firms that respond to this RFQ, who are determined by the Jeff Davis County Board of Education,(BOE) to be especially qualified, may be deemed eligible and may be invited to interview and offer proposals for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFQ and follow instructions carefully. BOE reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at their discretion Interior Modifications and Renovations to the existing Elementary School located on 156 Collins Street, Hazelhurst, GA. These interior Modifications and Renovations will include but are not limited to: 1. Removal and replacement of all existing Wall Mounted and Roof top HVAC units 2. Resurfacing the existing All battery toilet flooring with Epoxy 3. Removal of all existing 2'x4' fluorescent light fixtures and installation of new 2'x4' LED light fixtures. 4. Cleaning, prepping, and repainting all interior wall surfaces and metal door frames. 5. Removal and replacement of all 4" resilient base throughout the facility. 6. Rewiring and upgrading electrical and data wiring in select areas of the facility. 7. Removing select area floor finishes and installing new floor finishes. 8. Reworking and improving the HVAC and intake air for the vocational area. 9. Various other small improvements as detailed in the Construction Documents. 10. Alternate to remove existing Acoustical Ceiling tile and replace with new 24"x24" Acoustical Ceiling Tile (Ceiling Grid to remain)
