All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to this invitation for bids shall comply with the provisions of the statute. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cash deposit, certified bank letter of credit or certified check made payable to the City of Shakopee, Minnesota, in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified and at the price bid.
