As of November 04, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on November 8th. Bethlehem Housing Authority will receive sealed bids to replace light fixtures and smoke detectors in 376 apartments in 4 high rises. Clarification Deadline: 10/21/2021 3:00 PM. A Certified Check, payable to the Bethlehem Housing Authority, or a satisfactory Bid Bond, secured by a Surety Company which appears in the Department of Treasury Circular #570, in the amount of 10% of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds. Questions shall be directed to Curt Kichline at 610-865-8358. Additional information can be found at the website. Bethlehem Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids. The scope of work includes, but may not be limited to the following: light fixture removal and replacement light fixture modification smoke detector replacement The Contractor shall remove existing surface mounted fixtures and install new light fixtures. Contractor shall remove tamperproof adapter from kitchen recessed fixtures. Contractor shall replace existing smoke detectors and mounting plates.
