**As of January 5, 202, the project has not been awarded. The State is still reviewing bids and will make that decision internally. Construction is anticipated to start in spring 2022. This project consists replacing Windows at 5 buildings and Window Shades at 6 Buildings, and associated work. There are 2 buildings in the base bid, 2 buildings in alternate #1, and 2 buildings in alternate #2. Please bid accordingly. • Required trades are listed below by Division (check specification, as may not be all inclusive): 02 - Selective demolition and asbestos abatement. 03 - Concrete – None. 04 - Masonry – Brick replacement at head detail 10/A6.04. 05 - Metals – Miscellaneous steel - lintel replacement at head detail 10/A6.04. 06 - Carpentry – Rough carpentry – window blocking, and interior wood trim. 07 - Flashing and Caulking. 08 - Replace windows and some doors with clad wood windows, and door hardware. 09 - Finishes – Misc. drywall patching, and painting. 10 & 11 - None. 15 - Replace window shades. 15 & 16 - None. Work of this Contract comprises of the removal of the existing double hung original wooden windows and the replacement with new single hung insulated wood aluminum clad windows at the same locations. Install new sealant interior and exterior and the rebuilding the interior header / jambs and the installation of wood trim as required required. Removal of existing window roller shades and replacement with new roller shades is also included in the scope of work
