Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rutledge, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be completed shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct the Old Train Depot Parking Lot including installation of approximately 250 LF RCP storm sewer, 2,200 SY asphalt paving, 600 LF of concrete curb & gutter, and 650 SY concrete sidewalk and stamped decorative concrete, complete with demolition, earthwork, electrical conduit, landscaping, striping, signage and all appurtenances necessary to provide a complete installation. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Describes the methods by which measurement will be made of the quantities for which payment will be made for the Project. All costs associated with project meetings, and project coordination shall be included in the unit prices listed on the Bid Form. Measurement methods delineated in the individual specification sections complement the criteria of this section. In the event of conflict, the requirements of the individual specification section govern. Work shall be measured by the Engineer or his representative with assistance from the Contractor prior to preparation of a payment request by the Contractor. Unit quantities that are measured in place shall be measured monthly. The Contractor shall give the Engineer a minimum of two days notice for making all required measurements. Materials that must be measured as delivered shall be measured at the time of delivery by the Engineer or his representative; the Contractor shall provide sufficient advance notice so that such measurements can be made. Work completed shall be measured for completion against the schedule of values provided by the Contractor in accordance with the General Conditions. Related work necessary for a complete and operational job, such as relocation of mail boxes, abandonment of water mains, landscape restoration, stabilizing power poles, relocation of utilities, graveling / maintaining driveways, field engineering, traffic control, etc., not specifically identified as a pay item shall be included in the unit price bid for which the work pertains. No additional payments will be made for such activities.
