NAICS 237990 SIZE STANDARD $39.5M PROJECT TITLE/LOCATION: IDIQ SATOC FOR BARROW COASTAL EROSION REDUCTION AT UTQIAGVIK, ALASKA TOTAL 8a COMPETITIVE SET ASIDE FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT: CONSTRUCTION WAGE RATES (DAVIS BACON) SHALL APPLY DESCRIPTION: USACE - This SATOC IDIQ contract is for the construction of approximately 5 continuous miles of coastal erosion protection comprised of a revetment, armored berm, and raised and armored road along the coast of Utqiagvik. The revetment section consists of a layered system of filter rock, core rock, B rock, and 2.7-ton armor stone. The armored berm section consists of a layered system of filter rock, core rock, B rock, and 2.7-ton armor stone. The crest w ill be approximately 18 ft above MLLW and require approximately 34,000 CY of 2.7-ton armor stone, along w ith approximately 50,000 CY of filter, core, and B rock. The raised and armored road section w ill require raising an existing road surface and aromoring the seaw ard side. Intersecting streets and drivew ays w ill be modified to accommodate the new street heights. The contract w ill be an IDIQ Single Aw ard Task Order Contract (SATOC) and w ill include multiple individual construction task orders to accomplish the overall Barrow Coastal Erosion Reduction project.
