All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of the following sewerage system improvements. Division One: Construction of approximately 4,220 linear feet of 24-inch PVC and ductile iron interceptor sewer, all complete with appurtenances. Division Two: Construction of approximately 2,250 linear feet of 16-inch PVC effluent force main and 1,900 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water line, all complete with appurtenances. Division Three: Construction of approximately 2,725 linear feet of 10-inch PVC force main, all complete with appurtenances. Division Four: Dig and replace approximately 1,142 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer line with 1,020 linear feet of 12-inch and 122 linear feet of 15-inch gravity sewer, remove and replace manholes and construct new manholes, all complete with appurtenances. Bypass pumping will be required. Time allotted for construction is 180 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 210 days for final completion for Division One, Division Two, Division Three and Division Four. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the City of Senoia, Georgia, in the amount of at least 10% of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Senoia, Georgia. Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Senoia, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
