A timeline for award has not yet been established.** 01-02-U-016 SEALED BID: ATLANTIC AVENUE ROAD DIET, PHASE 1 FEDERAL PROJECT #STBGP-1100(300) NJDOT JOB #5502329 Bidders shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, Public Laws of 1977, Chapter 33; and City of Atlantic City Ordinance 24 of 1993, and the Mayor's Executive Order No. 2 of 1994 and the requirements of P.L. 1963. C150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et. seq.). Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal is 11% and the number of Training Positions shall be 0 (where feasible consisting of at least Zero (0) Apprentices and Zero (0) Apprentice Graduates of the P.A.P. and/or Trainees (Total Trainee Hours = 0). A certified or cashier's check or bid bond and Certificate of Surety (as defined herein) shall accompany all bids, in accordance with the Specifications and Instructions to bidders. Bidder and any subcontractors shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. Public Works Contractor Registration Act and shall be registered in accordance with the act. Bidders shall be required to comply with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 and submit proof of NJ Business Registration and submit proof of any business registration for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. Genearlly the scope of work includes the mill and resurfacing of Ataltic Avenue from Tennsassee Avenue to Maine Avene in Ataltic City. The roadway will be striped for one lane in each direction including a bike lane in each direction. Traffic signals modifiations are included to accont for the new lane configuaruon. Pedeatroian lighting and fiber optic utility is also included in the project.
