Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Laguna Woods, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
***As of November 4, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. An anticipated date to be awarded is 3-4 week of November, 2021.*** The work to be done includes, but is not limited to, AC pavement cold milling and repaving. The work also includes traffic control, adjusting utility manholes and water valves to grade, re-establishing survey monuments, painting striping and legends, and applying pavement markings. The City of Laguna Woods is requesting bids from qualified bidders - including Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Section 3 license contractors and suppliers - for its "Pavement Management Plan Project (Southbound Moulton Parkway between Via Campo Verde and Calle Cortez)." No award will be made to a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of the California Business and Professions Code. Prevailing Wage Requirements - In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 et seq., of the Labor Code, the Director of Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done. The City of Laguna Woods reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities on a bid, and to make awards in the best interest of the City of Laguna Woods.
