Renovation of a municipal facility in Williamsburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work under this Project includes removal and replacement of existing asphalt roofing shingles and underlayments. And shall include, but not be limited to completing all required site work; furnishing of all materials, labor, supervision, tools, transportation, daily cleanup of the site at the end of the workday, proper disposal of waste materials, maintenance of strict safety precautions, adherence to environmental regulations, erosion and sediment control, other miscellaneous appurtenances and work necessary to complete the project. All questions pertaining to this project should be directed to Caprice White, in writing, via e-mail caprice.white@jamescitycountyva.gov not later than 2:00 pm on January 12, 2022 Bid Security in the amount of Five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract will be required by the Owner prior to Contract Award. The cost of bonds is to be included with the bid price. Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2 Chapter 43, Code of All work associated with this project shall have Substantial Completion in 90 days from Notice to Proceed. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $ 250.00 per day will be assessed for failure to meet the schedule for Full Completion.
