Site work for a civil project in Kehewin, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
On-site remediation of 4,600 m3 of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil and groundwater at the Kehewin Cree Nation former gas bar along with buried utility decommissioning and removal. Treated soils must meet federal (CCME) remediation guidelines. The work will involve remediation of the upper 6 m of soils that contain free phase hydrocarbon on the groundwater table. In-situ remediation efforts are being conducted separately for areas surrounding the most impacted area and at depths >6m.
