Project was awarded to Johler Demolition in the amount of $718,000 for Demolition and Husar Abatement, Ltd in the amount of $219,000 for Asbestos Abatement. SCOPE OF WORK - The proposed project consists of, but is not limited to, asbestos abatement and building demolition of the 128,600 SF building at the 100 Church Street location in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Bidders will then be granted access to SmartBid to download drawings for free. Lamp Incorporated will be utilizing SmartBid for the entire bidding process, including addenda, so all interested bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to access the SmartBid network. All Contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Contractors' qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated's office by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 26, 2021. The successful bidder is required to pay the Prevailing Wage for work under this Contract and shall submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to waive any technicality irregularity.
