This project includes the abandonment of 9,700 LFT of existing 4-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch pipe being replaced with approximately 10,000 LFT of 8-inch and 12-inch C-900 PVC pipe. The project also includes approximately 100 LFT of jack and bore crossing the CSX railroad at the intersection of Claremont and Barker Avenues. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing, and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and the Specifications Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is expected to be funded by a State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, administered by the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA). The Contractor to whom the work is awarded shall comply with all requirements of said agencies. Where conflict exists between this specification and the federal agency specifications, the more stringent shall apply. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract.
