DASNY is soliciting bids for Fire Protection Upgrades at Hudson Valley DDSO, Hostel #9720, 39 Clark Lane in Harriman, New York. The primary project scope includes, but is not limited to, sprinkler and fire alarm upgrades with hazardous materials abatement and general construction work required to support the upgrades. Hazmat work includes mold remediation and asbestos abatement associated with door removals and wall removals. General construction includes removing and replacing a sliding door, creating soffits for sprinkler piping, and creating a new storage room in the garage. Site work includes replacing the existing domestic water service with a larger water service capable of supporting the sprinkler system. Fire protection work includes providing an NFPA 13R compliant sprinkler system and providing an NFPA 72 compliant fire alarm system. One Construction Contract will be awarded with an estimated value of $350,00 - $400,000.
