Pool Mechanical Services - DCR Pools in Metro Boston Region - P25-3614-M1A Facilities within Bristol, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk Counties The project consists of: Maintenance and repair of DCR Pools systems and equipment including filter and mechanical systems, pool shell and gutters, minor plumbing, electrical, safety equipment, patching, painting, repair and replacement of protective surfaces. The estimated project Base Bid cost is $2,500,000 The work is to be accomplished within 1095 calendar days of a notice to proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed if the work has not been completed in accordance with the provisions of the contract within the time specified (as extended by any authorized extension of time granted in accordance with the contract provisions). The proposed contract includes a combined requirement of 10.4% of the bid price for minority-owned business enterprises and women-owned business enterprises. Proposed MBE/WBE plans that include solely MBE or solely WBE, or do not include a reasonable amount by both MBE and WBE firms to meet the combined requirements, will not be considered responsive.
