The purpose of this ITB is to establish a Contract for pedestrian safety improvements for the benefit of ODOT. The work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction Work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents. The resulting contract is for a public works project subject to prevailing wage rates, in accordance with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Pre-bid Conference: None. Deadline for questions or requests for clarification 5 calendar days prior to the Bid Opening Date identified in OregonBuys for this ITB Deadline for Award protest 5 calendar days after issuance of the notice of intent to award. See ITB Section C.3.14 Each Offer shall be accompanied by (submitted via upload in OregonBuys, except as provided in Section D.4) a certified or cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, or Bid Bond payable to the State of Oregon in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Offer. he selected Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the total amount (100%) of the awarded Contract, executed in favor of the State of Oregon, to ensure faithful performance of the Contract and payment for services and goods.
