Renovation of a detention facility in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The replacement of steel security, detention-grade doors, and jambs (as required) on the West Wing of HRYCI for housing unit entrances, cells, shower rooms and closets for eighteen (18) housing units. There are approximately twenty-four (24) doors/jambs per housing unit for and approximate total of 432 doors and jambs (as required). Each jamb has been indicated with a specific level of repair or replacement on the door schedule. The project also involves miscellaneous repairs, including but not limited to replacing hardware for ten (10) sliding doors, removing obsolete door mullions, replacing miscellaneous hallway and infirmary doors etc.
