A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the PONTOTOC COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, materials and/or supply needs. The work shall consist of: Construction of road improvements including earthwork, stone base, curb and gutter, paving, striping, and signage.
