As of 6/14/2023, the bids were rejected and the project will be rebidding in early July. This project includes the replacement of approx. 2,150 LF of pipe bursting from 4" PVC to 6" PVC forcemain, approx. 675 LF of trenchless construction of 6" PVC forcemain including crossing beneath channel. A Bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed advantageous to it and waive informalities and defects in the bids and in the bidding process. All bids received after the closing time designated above may be returned unopened at the discretion of the Engineer. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and maintenance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price in a form and from a Surety company meeting the requirements specified in the contract documents
