The Velocity Metropolitan District No. 1 (the Owner ) is accepting sealed bids for the Porteos Pond GG1 & Gopher Gulch Channel ( Project ). The Project will include: Approximately 3,800 L.F. of Channel Infrastructure including pond improvements, sanitary sewer, storm, and regional trail within the City of Aurora. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the Bid date and time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any errors or irregularities, and to require statements or evidence of Bidders qualifications including financial statements. The Owner also reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum if it appears in its interest to do so. The project is located within the City of Aurora. Specific location is shown on the construction plans entitled Porteos - Pond GG1 & Gopher Gulch Channel Construction Documents. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, appurtenances, tools, and labor for performing all operations necessary to construct the channel, regional trail, pond, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer facilities and appurtenances. All work shall be done in accordance with the Standard Technical Specifications of the City of Aurora Standards and Specifications for Water. Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Drainage Infrastructure - latest edition, the City of Aurora Roadway Design and Construction Specifications - latest edition, the Special Provisions of this Contract, and as shown on the Construction Drawings. The following "Special Provisions" shall govern in case of any discrepancies in any or all of the following Specifications, and the intent, either expressed or implied, of the "Special Provisions" shall govern in the interpretation of the Plans and Specifications. However, if any of the enclosed referenced Specifications conflict with the Specifications Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), the Colorado Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications of the City of Aurora shall, in all cases prevail. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to maintain coordination with the appropriate person with the State or City. Where other conflict in specifications exist, the more stringent of the two specifications shall apply.
