The intent of this request for qualifications to provide Design-Build services needed for repair work located at Eunice Recreation Center, 1000 Eunice Street, Arlington, Texas 76010. The City of Arlington strongly encourages respondents to submit their response to this RFQ electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted. PROJECT SCOPE The Eunice Senior Center was severely damaged by water lines that broke in February of 2021 in the freeze of that month. The City removed water damage materials in the building including flooring, gypsum board, ceilings, etc... that were damaged by the water from the broking pipes. The scope of services for the project will be in two phases. The first phase will be to develop drawings and specifications to document repairs and replacement materials needed to bring the building back to a usable condition. Phase two will be the construction phase to repair damaged materials and replace materials that have already been removed. The completed design-build project is intended to provide a complete and useable facility for the City of Arlington which can be put into operation immediately after acceptance by the City. The City's MWBE goal, for this project is 35 %.
