Site work for a water / sewer project in Osceola, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Osceola is accepting bids for the installation and programming of 2,050 ultrasonic, residential water meters. Any questions concerning the bidding process should be addressed to Tim Jones, City of Osceola Water Department by calling (870)565-5245. Bid is to include the cost to remove the old meters, sizes about 5/8" X 3/4" X 7.5". The bid may include other ancillary pricing. Specifications and addenda shall be obtained at the City of Osceola Water Department. The City of Osceola shall not be responsible for lost or misdirected bids, or for failure of proposer's technical equipment. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The City of Osceola encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Osceola encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The City of Osceola reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject bids, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond ninety calendar days from the bid opening date.
