The City of Bethlehem encourages women and minority businesses to bid on City projects. The engineer's estimate is between $135,000 and $165,000. To provide HVAC-related labor and materials to renovate the west influent pump room at the City's wastewater treatment plant, as more particularly specified in the Contract Documents. After issuance of the Notice of Award, such contract must be completed within 300 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidders will be required to provide Construction Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount as specified in the contract documents, which bonds shall also cover a 1-year correction period which will commence upon completion of the Work. In the meantime, questions may be directed to the Project Manager identified for this Project. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof The Project generally consists of: 1. Replacement of three (3) existing 100 horsepower dry pit submersible pumps with three (3) new 115 horsepower pumps. 2. Replacement of existing motor control centers (MCC) with new MCCs equippedwith VFDs. 3. Installation of a new pump control panel. 4. Demolition and replacement of all suction and discharge piping in the West Influent Pump Room. 5. Access and stair modifications to the West Influent Pump Room. 6. Upgrades to lighting in the West Influent Pump Room. 7. Lead paint removal and surface preparation of the walls of the West and East Influent Pump Rooms. 8. Painting of all walls, piping, valves, stairs, and structural components in the West and East Influent Pump Rooms. 9. HVAC upgrades in the West and East Influent Pump Rooms. 10. Rehabilitation of the West Influent Wet Well. The engineer's estimate is between $135,000 and $165,000.
