For the furnishing of all labor and material for the installation of new generator system at the Munster Municipal Complex. Bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled ""Town of Munster Generator System Upgrades"". Any bids received later than the above time will be returned unopened. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: demolition of existing generator, transfer switches, and switchboards; removal of air intake and exhaust louvers for the existing generator and associated masonry repair; installation of new concrete generator pad; setting new generator; installation of new service-entry rated automatic transfer switch and new switchboards; and all accessories and appurtenances needed to ensure a complete and functional generator system in the Town of Munster, Indiana. COMPLETION DATE: This work shall be substantially completed by August 31,2022 and fully completed by September 30, 2022. All contractors and subcontractors listed in each bid must be properly licensed in the Town of Munster as a condition of being awarded the project. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Munster or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BONDS: Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. INDIANA REQUIREMENT: Standard Indiana Form 96 (Revised 2009) which includes non-collusion affidavit will be required.
