As of September 18, 2024, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Engineer firm information has not been determined. Construction is anticipated to start 18-24 months from now. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Munster is requesting proposals for engineering design services for the Ridge Road Complete Street project. The project consists of reconfiguring and reconstructing approximately 1.3 miles of Ridge Road from five lanes of traffic to three, the addition of a 10-foot-wide multi-use path on the south side of the street, overhead utility relocation, traffic signal and intersection improvements, landscaping, gateway and wayfinding signage, pedestrian seating, and other decorative features. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
