Remodeling of a municipal facility in Canon City, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
The work shall generally consist of providing, constructing, and installing, complete in place: Remove existing work stations; Install "wrap around" style counters as well as a check-in counter; Install three (3) full height walls consisting of metal studs 16" OC with 5/8" sheetrock on both sides as well as a half wall; Install nine (9) lateral locking cabinets and seven (7) partitions; The nine (9) stations must have locking pull drawers large enough to hold tills and drop folders; Each station, including the check-in counter, must have eight (8) outlets and a phone line; All current outlets, phone lines, and county lines need to be moved or removed; Install two (2) full frame doors, two (2) double hinged swinging doors, one (1) half door, and one (1) swinging gate; Replace existing overhead lighting Work must be done in stages as the DMV cannot be closed for any amount of time.
