For Mark Twain Riverfront Park Sidewalks Project The Project consists of the renovation of the existing public park space known as Mark Twain Riverfront Park in downtown Elmira on West Water Street between Carl Proper Drive and North Main Street. The proposed improvements will be on land owned by the City between Water Street and the Existing Flood Wall. Project site improvements include the replacement of the existing paver paths with concrete ones, a new concrete path along the flood wall, new park furniture, minor demolition and grading, and improved planting area. The project site consists of approximately 1.0 acre of development space that will maintain its current function and intent. Construction is to be by a single prime contractor and completed during the Spring of 2022 with award this year. Final Schedule to be discussed with Awarded Bidder. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Construction is to be completed during the Spring of 2022 with award this year.
