Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; educational facility; parking garage; playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
Project Number: 2200576 The project site for the 2019 Capital Improvements Project - Phase 2 located in the Town of Irondequoit, Rochester, NY respectively. The project consists of major renovations and improvements: Eastridge Senior High School SED# 26-08-01-06-0-002-025 Transportation Building SED# 26-08-01-06-5-016-004 At The High School: The Eastridge Senior High School campus is located at: 2350 East Ridge Road, Rochester, New York 14622. The project consists of major interior renovations with abatement of pipe insulation, existing VAT flooring, mastic, wall base and plaster ceilings along with removal of radiant ceiling panel systems in various Classrooms. General renovations include full renovations to various Classrooms with upgrading finishes throughout. Also included is full replacement and modifications of the HVAC systems at various locations along with upgrades to electrical, power, data and panels and replacement of lighting throughout. The project also includes upgrades to existing athletic field stadium lighting controls, installation of a new synthetic turf softball fields, dugouts, and associated hardscaping, new landscaping and overall asphalt and lawn restorations. At Transportation Building: The Transportation Building is located at: 125 Kane Drive, Rochester, New York 14622. The project consists of full replacement of the existing bus lifts (new lifts provided by the District) and associated concrete pit foundations, footings, and slab on grade within the bus garage. The project also includes modifications to the existing radiant heating flooring systems at both the interior and partial exterior of the Transportation Building. Also included is installation of new trench drains and underground storm piping connections to existing storm outlets along with upgrades to electrical panels, devices and new power outlets associated with the new bus lifts. The project also includes renovations and fit out of the existing covered storage area which includes new masonry and steel panel exterior wall enclosures with overhead doors, concrete slab on grade, and trench drains. A Bidder, making the deposit required for the Bidding Documents, submitting a Proposal accompanied by a certified check or other security in accordance with the requirements contained in the plans and specifications and public advertisement for bids and if the copy of the plans and specifications used by such Bidder, other than the successful Bidder is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days to DataFlow Inc. (address above) award of the contract covered by such plans and specifications, or rejection of the Bid, the full amount of such deposit for one copy of the plans and specifications shall be returned to such Bidder, including the successful Bidder. Partial reimbursement, in an amount equal to the full amount of such deposit for one set of plans and specifications per unsuccessful bidder or non- bidder less the actual cost of reproduction of the plans and specifications, shall be made for the return of all other copies of the plans and specifications in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. All questions in regards to the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other contract documents will not be made verbally. Responses will be distributed to all registered plan holders in the form of addendum. Attention of the Bidder is particularly called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. In addition, the Bidding Documents for this project contain detailed requirements for the qualification of Bidders. These include, among other things, rigid bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits, arbitrations or other proceedings in which the Bidder has been named as a party, a statement of surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and a description of other projects of similar size and scope completed by the Bidder. Bids shall be prepared as set forth in "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS", enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work to which the bid enclosed relates. Each Bidder shall deposit with its bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS." No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all bids.
