Site work for a road / highway in Buckeye, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project will install any conduit and fiber necessary to provide connectivity along Interstate 10 to the Traffic Interchanges at Miller Road, Watson Road, Verrado Way, and provide regional connection to the Goodyear TOC and ultimately the MAG/Phoenix TRC. Staff will pursue MAG funding and Anticipates the project to occur 2023. This project will improve regional and local connectivity and demonstrates the potential to improve traffic operations in locally and regionally. As of December 4, this project is currently in the City of Buckeye's FY 2026-2030 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
